smarter PARKING is coming to BEATTY PARK

From Monday 2 November, you will need to start a parking session when you visit Beatty Park. The change is coming to better manage parking and ensure spaces are available for people visiting Beatty Park.

You will be able to register your parking two ways:

  • By using EasyPark or PayMyPark
  • Registering your number plate on the ticketless parking machine

Parking will remain free for 4 hours. Get ready and download the apps:

What is changing?

You will still be able to park at Beatty Park for free, for 4 hours.

The key change is that you will need to start a parking session through the EasyPark or PayMyPark app, or register at the ticketless parking machine when you park your car.

Why is the City making this change?

As one of Perth’s most popular leisure centres, the car park at Beatty Park is increasingly busy. We want to make sure as much parking as possible is available for Beatty Park visitors.

Introducing smarter parking will provide a more efficient way to manage parking and help ensure spaces are available for people using Beatty Park. It will also help to deter commuters who use the car park and continue their journey by foot, scooter or bus.

What do I need to do?

When you arrive at Beatty Park:

  1. Once parked, start an EasyPark or PayMyPark parking session via the app. Check your session has started successfully, or;
  2. Register your number plate at the ticketless parking machine
  3. Remember that the maximum stay is four hours

Visit EasyPark or PayMyPark for further information on how to use the apps.
