Beatty Park Leisure Centre has been home to some of the best public pools in Perth since 1962.
We have six indoor and outdoor pools available for swimming lessons, aqua aerobics, school carnivals, competitions or a leisurely swim.
25 metre Indoor Pool
Our 25 metre indoor pool is heated to 31°C all year round. It features 8 lanes and is 0.9 to 1.25 metres deep.
The pool can be used for walking and rehab exercise, with slow, medium and fast lanes available so swimmers can choose the most appropriate lane to use.
This pool is accessible via a hoist and can also be accessed via water wheelchair from the indoor leisure pool.

Indoor Leisure Pool and Water Playground
Our indoor leisure pool is heated to 31°C all year round.
The leisure pool 0 to 0.9 metres deep, making it perfect for kids to walk into and play in. The water playground includes a giant tipping bucket, spray curtains, fountains, hoops and Aboriginal tile artwork.
This pool also has water wheelchair accessibility.
Please note, our giant tipping bucket will be turned off at scheduled times every day so people can enjoy the pool in a low sensory environment. Click here to view our low-sensory swimming times.
Indoor Slide Pool
Our indoor slide pool is heated to 31°C all year round.
It has two slides and at 1.05 metres deep, it’s a great pool to splash into!
50 metre Outdoor Pool
Our 50 metre outdoor pool is heated to 26.5°C all year round. It features 10 lanes and is 1.2 – 1.8 metres deep.
This pool can be used for walking and rehab exercise, with slow, medium and fast lanes available so swimmers can choose the most appropriate lane to use.
It also has wheelchair access via a ramp.

30 metre Outdoor Pool
Our 30 metre outdoor pool is heated to 26.5°C all year round and is 1.8 metres deep. It is regularly without lane ropes (subject to change).
This pool can be used for deep water activities such as synchronised swimming and water polo, and is frequently booked by clubs.

12 metre x 12 metre Outdoor Pool
Our 12 metre outdoor pool is heated to 26.5°C all year round and is 0.9 to 1.2 metres deep.
This pool is ideal for walking and rehab exercise or a leisurely swim.
