BODYPUMP HEAVY

BODYPUMP Heavy uses moderate to heavy weights to perform simple, slow traditional lifts, allowing for longer recoveries and an increased focus on technique.

In a 55-minute BODYPUMP Heavy class, you'll:

  • Build maximum lean muscle and strength
  • Improve your weightlifting form
  • Challenge your strength to deliver measurable performance gains

HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT TO BODYPUMP OR STRENGTH DEVELOPMENT?

  • BODYPUMP Heavy: a purely strength-focused weightlifting class using moderate to heavy weights, low complexity movements and plenty opportunity for rest
  • BODYPUMP: a strength endurance and functional conditioning class using light to moderate weights, high reps, a variety of tempos, continuous movement and minimal rest 
  • Strength Development: a progressive strength training class that works through three specific training phases; mechanical tension, hypertrophy, and integrated strength

CLASS FEES

Group fitness classes are included in all full memberships.

Otherwise, you can join classes casually or save on classes with a multi-entry card.

Casual entry includes use of our heated pools before or after your class.
