Conveniently located in North Perth, close to Leederville, West Perth and the CBD, our fully air-conditioned gym is equipped with top of the range electronic cardio equipment from Precor. The recent downtime has allowed us an opportunity to upgrade our flooring and optimise the gym layout for your workout. 

Our fitness centre is home to the top of the range pin loaded, plate loaded and free weights from some of the world's leading manufacturers, including Hammer Strength and Life Fitness. Available for all members, we also have a Synrgy 360, one of the most sought after pieces of gym equipment (check it out Synrgy 360) to help with all your functional training.

Fitness Appraisals

Fitness appraisals are conducted in the gymnasium. 

Please note: Full disclosure of any pre-existing conditions or injuries is required prior to any fitness program being provided. A medical clearance may be recommended based on this information. If the member does not wish to obtain a medical clearance then a *Medical Clearance Refusal form must be signed before a program can be provided.  

Your comprehensive fitness appraisal includes:

  • Completion of a pre-exercise health questionnaire
  • Resting heart rate and blood pressure
  • Girth and skinfold measurements
  • Cardiovascular fitness
  • Flexibility assessment

Supervised Workouts

Your gym instructor will accompany you through your first workout. They will help you with your personalised program so you feel comfortable and confident with it. Programs are checked and updated on a regular basis. If you feel you need a program change please consult any of our fully qualified instructors.

Casual Visits

Casual visits are available for the gym and all fitness classes.

  • Casual entry or multi-entry tickets are available for all classes
  • We recommend you bring a drink bottle to all classes
  • Workout towels are essential in group fitness, circuit classes and in the gym
  • No entry to classes 5 minutes after they have commenced

Group Fitness and Aqua Fitness

As a full member of Beatty Park’s gym, you can enjoy an extensive range of health and fitness classes including:

You do not have to book for classes, but to ensure a spot in the class please arrive 15 minutes early or you can use our new BEATTY PARK MEMBER GROUP FITNESS APP to reserve your place up to 24 hours in advance. You should also advise the instructor if you are new to classes. While it is not recommended to leave before the cool-down, if you need to leave, please advise the instructor before the class.

You must bring a towel to each class and it is recommended that you bring water. Shoes are a requirement for all RPM and group fitness classes, as well as in the main gym area. However, they are not required for body balance or yoga.
