Congratulations to Swim School student Presley, who qualified for the Special Olympics State Games at Sunday's qualifier held at Aquinas College on Sunday May 14.
Presley started swimming with us as part of our Angelfish program for people with disability, and is now a much-loved member of our Monday night adult fitness class.
Presley qualified for the Games after coming first in the 25 metre butterfly, second in the 200 metre freestyle and fourth in the 50 metre freestyle.
Swim instructor Sarah has been training Presley in the lead up to the qualifier, and will continue training and supporting him ahead of the Games in September.
Well done to Presley and Sarah and the all best for September!
