New fees and charges commence 1st August 2019

Beatty Park Leisure Centre's fees and charges are reviewed on an annual basis and comparisons are carried out with similar centres across Perth. The 2019/20 fees and charges were adopted by the City of Vincent on the 25th June 2019. The list of the fees which will be applicable from the 1st of August 2019 are displayed in the foyer on the main noticeboard and the website will be updated shortly to reflect them.

What are the main changes?

  • 1% on all memberships
  • 1% on Swim lessons
  • Casual and swim entries increasing for Adults and Pensioners but decreasing for Children (no increase on multi entry passes for adult, child or pensioner swimming)
  • Small increase on lane hire and room hire
  • A reduced cost “off peak” membership for Seniors is being introduced with access to the facility available Mon to Friday 10am to 3pm Saturday 10am to close and Sunday all day. For details on this or any of our membership options please speak to our Gym or Reception staff or send us an email at membership.bp@vincent.wa.gov.au

Why a fee increase?
The simple answer is our costs have gone up for pretty much everything including utilities, chemicals, cleaning and ongoing maintenance. Additionally we have a number of required facility equipment upgrades and renewals planned for this year to ensure we continue to add value to your membership, casual entry fee or group booking. These include:
• Replacing the flooring in both fitness studios and the gym
• Upgrading all the strength equipment in the gym
• Completing the installation of new Solar PV cells (this will help minimise increased electricity costs with an additional 78.65 kW of energy generated – site total capacity now a whopping 116 kW!)
• Upgrading the Centre CCTV system (to enhance your safety and security)
• Upgrading the LED lights throughout the Centre (reduce energy costs across the Centre and enhance the visibility in areas where additional light is needed)
• Replacing the indoor pool supply and exhaust fans

We will also be replacing a number of smaller items which are reaching the end of their usable lifespan such as:
• Water fountains
• Hand dryers
• Pool vacuum cleaners
